Based on the belief that students learn best through experience, dance classes are dynamic and action oriented. We want dancers to enjoy what they are doing to ensure good attendance and years of participation at Dancin’ Feet.
Susana Irigoyen - Owner & Director (Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, & Acro Teacher)
Miss Susana started dancing at the age of 4 at Dancin’ Feet in ballet and later added tap, jazz, and modern. In high school, she participated in the SAVAPA Dance program at Southwest High School for 3 years where she expanded her dance portfolio by learning hip hop, lyrical, and contemporary. After high school, Miss Susana attended Cottey College in Nevada, Missouri and graduated with her BA in Business Administration-Management and AFA in Dance in May of 2019. Three months after graduating from college, she purchased Dancin' Feet and began her new career. Miss Susana began teaching and choreographing in 2011 in ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, contemporary, and musical theatre. Some of her most notable performances and competitions include the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (2011), Disneyland (2013), Disney World (2015), and The American College Theatre Festival Region V (Des Moines, Iowa - 2017 & Sioux Falls, South Dakota - 2019). She is excited to share her passion of dance with all of her students and help them grow not only as dancers, but as individuals!
Maclaine Anchondo - Acro/Stretching Teacher
Miss Maclaine started dancing at Dancin' Feet at a young age and continued dancing there for 16 years. She always tells her students that the studio is her second home! Miss Maclaine fell in love with acro/stretching in high school and fell in love with teaching after graduating from high school. She is so excited to teach her students something she loves and can't wait to have a lot of fun with them!
Patty Beach-Avalos - Tap & Jazz Teacher
Mrs. Patty has been teaching tap and jazz at Dancin’ Feet since 2000. Prior to her time at Dancin’ Feet, she was a dance teacher at MGM Dance Studios in El Centro, Calexico, and Holtville. She studied Dance in San Diego and is a Stage 7 certified teacher and was also a member of the Hoctor Dance Caravan. Mrs. Patty is excited for another year at Dancin’ Feet and can’t wait to teach her students and have many laughs with them!
Celeste Cardona - Ballet Teacher
Miss Celeste has been dancing since the age of 7 in ballet. Later on, she started taking jazz, modern, and tap. Throughout her dance career, she continues to fall in love with dance over and over again. Her dance teachers have taught her so much not only in dance but in life as well. Miss Celeste is beyond thankful to now be teaching others to do what she loves the most!
Maritza Estrada - Ballet Teacher
Miss Maritza have been dancing with Dancin' Feet since she was 4 years old. She dance jazz, tap, modern, and hip hop, but absolutely fell in love with ballet. The first time she was taught by Miss Susana (Dancin' Feet's owner & director), she was instantly amazed and knew she could not leave ballet behind. Miss Maritza is currently going to school for nursing in the valley so she can keep in touch with her hometown and dance studio! Ever since the first ballet class she taught, she knew this is what she wanted to do. Teaching at the studio feels like a dream come true and she can't wait to meet and share her passion with all of her students!
Kayla Finnell-Vogel - Modern Teacher
Mrs. Kayla is a Dancin’ Feet alumni and began dancing at the studio when she was just 3 ½ years old in ballet and later added tap, jazz, and modern. She was also part of the local SAVAPA Dance program for 3 years. She has experience teaching a variety of styles, ages, and abilities. During the day, Mrs. Kayla works as a Speech Language Pathologist for Heber Elementary School District. She loves designing creative choreography for any dance class she teaches and looks forward to this dance year with enthusiasm!
Victoria Jimenez - Hip Hop Teacher
Miss Victoria has always had a passion for dance ever since she was little. From ASES dance classes to going to every SAVAPA Dance camp to learning Kpop dances for fun to eventually going to a studio, she has always made dance a part of her life. Even though she didn't grow up dancing at Dancin' Feet or any studio, she wants to show her students that no matter where you start, it's never too late to start something you are passionate about.
Emma Maring - Ballet Teacher
Miss Emma is 16 years old and a junior in high school. She has been dancing at Dancin' Feet since she was 3 years old. She has trained in multiple different dance styles including; ballet, pointe, tap, and modern. She is beyond excited that she gets to teach at her second home! Miss Emma can't wait to share her love of dance with all of her students!
Paige Maring - Ballet Teacher
Miss Paige has been a lifelong dancer at Dancin' Feet, attending her first recital at just 2 months old! She has experience dancing in several styles including, tap, modern, and jazz but her real passion lies in ballet. She is so excited to be rejoining the Dancin' Feet team and to have the opportunity to share her love for ballet with her students!
Jhoselyn Ramirez-Strait - Belly Dance Teacher
Miss Jhoselyn was first introduced to Belly dance in 2002 when her sister signed her up for classes at a local community center in Carson, CA. She was a young new mom and thought it was a fun way to get in shape postpartum. A couple of years later, she fell in love with the music and various forms of Belly dance - connecting with yourself and the audience through dance expression is the best feeling. She studied for a few years on and off under world-renowned belly dancer, Fahtiem, and performed at talent shows, private parties, and a few Middle Eastern restaurants and clubs. She took a long hiatus from her Belly dance practice between 2013-2023. She is a wife, a mom of 3 humans and 2 dogs, and a real estate broker and small business owner. She reignited her passion for belly dancing again in 2023 when Lisa Pierce brought the first Belly dance fitness class to the Imperial Valley, here at Dancin' Feet. Selena Tapia - Hip Hop & Jazz Teacher
Miss Selena began dancing and performing at the age of 7 in her school talent shows. She auditioned for SAVAPA Dance in high school where she developed her love for dance, performing and creating choreography. Miss Selena danced with SAVAPA for 3 years and learned different styles of dance including lyrical ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and contemporary dance. During her time in SAVAPA, she was able to be part of dance productions that fueled her passion for performing. She had many great performing opportunities including school events, SAVAPA Dance productions, Disneyland, and New York. After graduating high school, she worked at her local Disney Store as a Cast Member where she would create events for the children, including choreographing and teaching dance routines. Miss Selena loves to create choreography and started teaching dance at Heber School’s after school program. She loves learning all styles of dance but has a special love and passion for hip-hop dance. Miss Selena is so excited to be able to share her gift and love of dance with the next generation of dancers!
Maddie Tuttle - Ballet, Jazz, Modern, & Acro Teacher
Miss Maddie has been dancing since she was 3 years old at Dancin' Feet! She started in ballet then later added tap, modern, hip hop, and jazz. She has experience dancing and teaching different dance styles. Teaching has made her more passionate about dance and making sure her students love dance as much as she does! She has been teaching since 2021 and is always looking forward to teaching kids and teens new skills and dance moves!
Naomi Urquidez - Ballet Teacher
Miss Naomi has been dancing since the age of 7 in ballet and later added jazz, pointe, and modern. Being able to teach feels amazing and getting to show her passion to her students feels incredible. Working with kids has been one of her favorite jobs and she loves getting to watch her students grow and become their own person. She is very excited to meet and share her love of dance with her students!
Evelyn Valenzuela - Modern Teacher
Miss Evelyn started dancing at Dancin' Feet 3 years ago and immediately fell in love with it. Ever since she was a little girl, she has always dreamed about dancing in a studio but never had the opportunity to. After taking 2 years of ballet, she decided to try modern and knew that was the dance style for her. She is grateful for her teachers at Dancin' Feet for motivating her to keep growing and learning as a dancer. Miss Evelyn is proud to have the honor to teach and is super excited to meet her students and share her passion and love for dance!
